Nearly 50,000 fewer low-income Missourians are using SNAP following changes to the program, according to a recent St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.
At the JFS Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, we see firsthand what changes in food assistance can mean for local families. At a time when more people are seeking help, federal food resources available to the pantry have also declined significantly.
