NOURISH: A Party for the Pantry
Join us for NOURISH: A Party for the Pantry on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center for an evening benefiting the JFS Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.
This year’s celebration will bring a farmer’s market atmosphere to life, featuring delicious food and beverages from Jewish-owned local businesses, live musical entertainment and engaging activities. Along with an evening of food and fun, guests will have several unique opportunities to make a direct impact on neighbors experiencing food insecurity throughout the St. Louis region.
Participating vendors will include Bengelina Hospitality Group, led by acclaimed St. Louis restaurateur Ben Poremba; Grain and Glass; Wally’s; Sylvie D’s; Maypop; AR Workshop Olivette; and Mound City. STL Photo Party will also be on hand, adding to the festivities.
Live music will set the mood throughout the event, with performances by the Clayton High School Jazz Band and musician Alex Rich.
Beyond enjoying the festivities, NOURISH attendees will have the opportunity to participate in three special initiatives that directly support the pantry and the individuals and families it serves.
Pack a Bag, Feed a Neighbor
Guests can roll up their sleeves and experience a small part of the pantry’s mission firsthand by packing a bag of food that will be distributed to pantry clients.
Fund the Van
JFS hopes to raise $50,000 to replace an aging commercial cargo van that is essential to the pantry’s daily operations.
A Taste of Bengelina Passport
One of the evening’s special offerings is the exclusive A Taste of Bengelina Passport, generously donated by Bengelina Hospitality Group. Each passport includes seven complimentary culinary experiences at some of St. Louis’ most celebrated dining destinations. Only 75 passports will be available, with a limit of two per purchase. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.
