Jewish Family Services (JFS) is committed to respecting the privacy of its financial and in-kind donors, whether the donation is made online, by mail, or any other method. When you make a financial or in-kind donation, you provide your name and contact information. When you provide standard payment information including credit card data, we protect your information in a variety of ways, as described below.

We use industry standard safeguards to protect your information. We protect the security of credit card transactions using a number of measures such as encryption, access controls, network firewalls, and physical security. These measures make it extremely difficult for anyone to intercept the credit card information you send to us.

When we work with other companies to process credit card transactions, those companies also use encryption and other appropriate security measures. We will not sell, share or trade your personally identifiable information with any other entity. We will not include your name in public campaign or appeal acknowledgement lists if you select to remain anonymous. In addition, we will not send you mailing from other organizations, unless you have given us specific permission to do so.

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their Personal Information is being used online. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect, or otherwise handle your Personal Information in accordance with our website. This privacy policy applies to information we collect on this website and in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and us. It does not apply to information collected by us offline or through any other means, or by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on our website.
